In Memoriam

On August 22, 2011 our good friend Adele Pool passed away after a courageous six month battle with lung cancer.

Adele will be remembered for her straightforward, no nonsense approach to business and to life.  She was a warm, engaging person, a fiercely loyal friend, and a smart, tough banker who seemed to know everyone in town.  

Adele built a successful career as a lender with Southern California Savings, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Barry S. Slatt Mortgage Company, Sterling Bank, Security Pacific Bank, and most recently the FDIC where she was Chief of Staff to the Western Director, regularly interfacing with FDIC executives in Washington including Sheila Bair.

We will miss her warm smile, her laughter, her wisdom and her friendship.

Adele - May your soul be at peace, and may your loved ones be comforted with memories of good times they shared with you.  We will miss you.
